2015 – 2016 | LocalVox | Social Marketing Platform

As the Front End Architect at LocalVox, I led the design and build of a small business social marketing mobile-first web app.

After we were acquired and merged into ‘martech’ aggregate Vivial, my role changed to Product Solutions Architect, where I coded less and designed/planned more.

Most successfully, I led a new initiative from concept to market, a customer facing Facebook Ads management product installed inside our desktop application.

Both products were developed in AngularJS with hand-rolled webpack configurations and notion of application state.

This deck of screen snaps illustrates first LocalVox (red) version of app – where I “designed in code” directly from whiteboard sketches, example experiences and “tribal” brand guidelines- evolving into Vivial (black) version of app where we had articulated design process, more thoughtful UX and clear brand guidance.

Heavily dependent on multiple external APIs, this app was a deep dive into complexities of application state from both engineering and UX perspectives.

Facebook Ad Manager

I took the lead designing this project as the only member of the team with previous experience running Facebooks Ads campaigns for paying clients.

This deck starts with some low-resolution wires and finishes with some of the final high resolution Sketch assets that I worked into a clickable InVision prototype for team reference before turning to the details of data-visualization UI components and prepping a robust production testing plan of deployed application with multiple live social media accounts.
